Galaxy S24 To Be The “Smartest AI Smartphone Ever,” Says Report،

Smartphone makers like Apple, Google, and Samsung are looking for AI-related features that can improve user experience in several ways. While Google recently launched the Pixel 8 series with several features like Magic Editor, generative wallpapers, etc., Apple is also working to include its language model capabilities in Siri. Now, South Korean tech giant Samsung plans to include a suite of AI tools on its Galaxy S24 series, which is expected to launch early next year.

The Galaxy S24 will create content and generate images on demand

According to SamMobile, Samsung is working to turn the upcoming Galaxy S24 series into “the smartest AI smartphones ever.” For the uninitiated, the series will be made up of three smartphones: the vanilla Galaxy S24, the S24 Plus and the S24 Ultra.

To achieve this, the company relies on established players in the AI industry and their services, such as OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Google’s Bard. The report mentions that the phones might be able to create content based on user inputs. Additionally, Samsung is said to include a text-to-image conversion feature, which the company is developing in-house.

The S24 series will run on Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in the US

The Samsung Galaxy S24 series is expected to feature the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, boasting 98% improved AI performance. Qualcomm mentions that the chipset can support up to 10 billion parameters for Gen AI models. From what it looks like, Samsung will use the chipset’s AI capabilities to facilitate features. It is important to mention that the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Plus could feature the Exynos 2400 SoC outside the United States.

In the past, Exynos chips weren’t as powerful or efficient as Snapdragon chips; therefore, over time we will see if the company can provide the same AI features on models that run on Exynos. Still, we’re a few months away from the Galaxy S24 launch, and there’s a good chance that more details about the phone will emerge soon. In the meantime, readers should take this information with a grain of salt.
