iPhone 15 Pro Max still functional after getting run over by an RV،

The build quality of the iPhone is impressive. The high-end iPhone 15 Pro Max is built like a tank. But no matter how well-built a phone is, there are some battles the device will lose even if it wears the toughest case available. And one of these battles was experienced by a iPhone 15 Pro Max belonging to a Reddit user with the handle “LillePuus1” who accidentally crashed his iPhone with a camper van that could weigh tens of thousands of pounds.
The title of the post reads “I crashed my 15 Pro Max with a campervan by accident” and the photo shared by “LillePuus1” on the social media platform tells the story. The screen is cracked everywhere, making it dangerous to use, and the giant strip that runs across the middle of the screen is a huge obstacle in the way. Here’s the problem: despite the accident, the phone is fully functional and the Reddit post was created by the damaged machine.
As usual, some citizens of Reddit were quick to joke about the situation. More than one Reddit user asked the device’s owner to put the phone in rice, a joke based on the controversial suggestion that putting a water-damaged phone in a bowl of rice would draw out the liquid and would save the phone. Another follower, no doubt an Android fan, said: “This is the only time in recent memory where it made me happy to see the iPhone 15 show up in my newsfeed.”
Others shared their stories of accidents they’ve had with their phones, including a guy who left his iPhone on the roof of a car and drove off. This device was completely unusable after hitting the road.

The device’s owner said the photo he shared of the damaged iPhone is truly “a disturbing image.” And while his iPhone 15 Pro Max has a badly damaged screen and the battery is not as exceptional as before the accident, the phone still works. The news is getting better; the owner of the damaged iPhone has insurance that will fully cover the costs of repairing the device or replacing it with a new device.

Here is a timely reminder. If you have your iPhone15 for less than 60 days, you can still subscribe to AppleCare+. You can do this directly from your iPhone by tapping Settings. There should be an option to “Add AppleCare+ coverage” if your iPhone is still eligible.
