Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves Reveals Announcement and Character Trailers

After a quarter of a century, Fatal Fury finally makes its comeback with its latest opus in the series, City of the Wolves. To prepare for the new game in the long-running fighting franchise, developer SNK has revealed a number of tantalizing trailers.

If you're excited about the new Fatal Fury game, check out the latest trailers. First, there's the trailer, which throws a bit of nostalgia at you before showcasing some footage from City of the Wolves.

The other video on SNK's YouTube channel shows some of the returning characters. We get to see Terry Bogard, Hotaru Futaba, Tizoc and many others.

As for when the game will actually launch, there's no official release date yet, other than it's expected to arrive “early 2025.”

CotW is presented as a direct sequel to Garou: Mark of the Wolves, released in 1999 on Neo Geo before being found on PlayStation 2 and Sega Dreamcast. That means it's been over 25 years since we last saw a new episode.

Given that the fighting genre is dominated by such huge hits as Tekken, Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat, Fatal Fury has unfortunately been put aside over the years. Still, the fact that she's coming back will excite longtime fans of the series.

As mentioned, there is no release date for City of the Wolves at the moment, but there is no doubt that the developer will be keen to show more as the months go by.
