Indiana Jones Gameplay Will Be Shown at Xbox Developer Direct

It's been a few years since Bethesda announced a new Indiana Jones was in the works, and we're about to get some gameplay. According to developer MachineGames, the upcoming title will be showcased during this year's Xbox Developer Direct event.

In a recent tweet, studio Wolfenstein says it's excited about the upcoming “gameplay reveal” of the Xbox exclusive Indiana Jones. According to a blog post on Xbox Wireother games under scrutiny include Avowed by Obsidian Entertainment and Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2, developed by Ninja Theory.

As for the new Indiana Jones game, not much is known so far, other than that it is being developed in collaboration with Bethesda. As such, there is no launch window yet, but it should be available on Xbox Series X|S and PC.

In addition to this, MachineGames also appears to be working on a new Wolfenstein installment. However, again, not much has been said about the project, so it will likely be a while before we get a release date.

Xbox Developer Direct 2024 is a Microsoft-led event that gives studios the opportunity to showcase some of their upcoming work. It will begin on January 18 at 3 p.m. ET/12 p.m. PT, after which Zenimax Online will “host The Elder Scrolls Online 2024 Global Reveal,” which will begin at 4 p.m. ET/1 p.m. PT.

If we will get a potential release window for Indiana Jones is not certain at this stage. Hopefully there will be one soon, especially since the game was officially announced in 2021.
