Hulu is now available on Disney+ for Bundle subscribers in the US،
Disney announced months ago that it would add Hulu to its app. Today, the streaming service confirmed that after months of testing, Hulu has finally joined Disney+ in the United States.
This means that Disney+ Bundle subscribers will be offered the full Hulu experience on Disney+, which includes Hulu content integrated into Disney+ recommendations, bundles and collections.
What's exciting about the full launch of Hulu on Disney+ is that we're reducing friction for Bundle subscribers. During the beta, Hulu content was intentionally isolated from the Hulu Hub, but will now be fully integrated into Bundle subscribers' home pages.
According to Disney, during Hulu's beta testing on Disney+ (December through this week), subscribers watched a wider range of content, such as adult animation, prestige dramas and comedies, all consistent with the predominant portfolio from Hulu.
The streaming company also says that Disney+ Bundle subscribers who have signed up since the beta began are watching more Hulu content on Disney+ than existing Bundle subscribers, suggesting that the integrated experience appears to be resonating with customers.
Finally, the Disney+ app has been redesigned and now features a slightly refined logo, as well as a new color palette and an orchestral mnemonic created by Oscar-winning composer Ludwig Goransson.
