iOS 17.3: All the new features and improvements،

It's only natural to expect a brand new iOS beta right after Apple releases a major update to its popular mobile operating system. This is precisely what happened right after the official release of iOS 17.2: Apple released the very first beta version of iOS 17.3. Now it's early to say if iOS 17.3 will be a major or minor update, but judging by the new features, it's definitely intriguing.

When it comes to minor iOS updates, it's usually difficult to give a precise release date, but based on our expectations, iOS 17.3 might be released in late January or maybe early February.
Currently, Apple has removed the latest iOS 17.3 Beta 2, as it appears to allow iPhones with Back Tap to be configured and enabled to get stuck in the bootloop. No matter if you had Double Tap or Triple Tap set up, the feature would still boot your device. This issue once again shows that the beta software is quite unstable and can easily cause problems for your device.
You can bootstrap yourself by reverting to a previous version of iOS like iOS 17.3 beta 1 or iOS 17.2.1, provided you have a recent backup to restore your data and applications (you should always have one).

iOS 17.3: All the new features

Protecting Stolen Devices

This new feature will add a multitude of layers of protection to iOS, making it harder for bad guys to change essential security settings. Enabling the feature will require positive biometric authentication when you attempt to change your iCloud password, turn off Lost Mode, or erase an iPhone while in an unfamiliar location.

This is done so that thieves who somehow obtained your iPhone and password cannot completely prevent you from accessing your device.

Enabling Stolen Device Protection is as simple as flicking a switch by going to Settings > Face ID & Passcode and tapping the corresponding switch to enable Stolen Device Protection. However, disabling it logically requires successful Face ID authentication, so even if thieves know about the new feature, they won't be able to disable it.

Collaborative playlists on Apple Music

Collaborative playlists that allow multiple people to edit public Apple Music playlists are missing from the official release. iOS 17.2, having been promised as a new feature. However, the first iOS 17The .3 beta includes the upcoming Apple Music feature and will hopefully reach the final version this time. The unfortunate iOS 17.3 beta 2 also featured collaborative playlists, indicating that these are well on their way.
