The rumor mill is already starting to get out of hand when it comes to the ultra high-end. Galaxy S24 The phone family is affected, with Samsung's next big releases making headlines basically every day for the past two weeks or so… and sometimes even more than once a day.
The problem is that not all rumors match previous speculation, which tends to leave questions unanswered, helping
Samsung maintain a bit of mystery around three undoubtedly spectacular phones likely to see the light of day as soon as next month .

Galaxy S24 could come with 12GB of RAM in “certain regions” of the world, which is a previously undisclosed detail. Unfortunately, even Ice Universe (aka @UniverseIce) isn't fully sure of this information, and since availability will likely be limited to certain countries like China or South Korea (at least that's our assumption), multitaskers excited about the base model
S24 might not want to make big purchasing plans yet.
This is (probably) our most accurate look at the Galaxy S24 design yet.
Of course, a US release could also be on the cards… if such a Galaxy S24 variant actually turns out to be real in the first place, although you also have to wonder about the retail price component of the equation.
It also remains to be seen whether Samsung will choose to pair this improved memory number with an improved 512GB or even 1 terabyte of internal storage space. Note that this year's 6.1-inch Galaxy S23 offers 512GB of storage, but only in combination with 8GB of RAM, while the S24 was previously expected to come in 128/8 and 256/8GB versions, which obviously seemed too modest (and cramped). to be true.
What does this mean for the S24+ and S24 Ultra?
To be completely frank, we don't know how to answer this question at the moment, but if Samsung is indeed planning a “special” Galaxy S24 edition for “certain areas”, one would assume that the same will be true for the S24 Plus and S24 Ultra.
In the case of the two higher-tier next-gen Samsung phones, we of course hope to see these region-exclusive models offer more modest specs compared to the more mainstream-oriented variants that were reportedly leaked yesterday.

The Galaxy S24 Ultra, for example, could at the very least add an entry-level 256GB storage configuration to the already mentioned 512GB/1TB range, while the S24+ could well pack 8GB of RAM after everything to satisfy its most budget-conscious potential buyers.
It's important to keep in mind that these are just hypotheses and (we like to think) educated guesses on our part, unlike the S24 model with 12GB of RAM, which seems like a gamble significantly safer when described as “very possible” by someone as reputable and as well-connected within as Ice Universe.
