Google confirms Fitbit Labs is coming to Premium subscribers later this year،
Google has completely embraced AI (artificial intelligence) and is now trying to implement it in almost every aspect of our lives. If you're using a device or software made by Google, chances are you're already enjoying many of the benefits that all of these AI-driven tools have to offer.
Plus, if you subscribe to Fitbit Premium, like Google just did announcement it will roll out some experimental AI features later this year. Called Fitbit Labs, the AI-oriented program is close to reaching maturity, which is why Google has decided to make it available to certain Fitbit Premium subscribers for further testing.
Fibit Labs was specifically designed to help users better understand their health data and make informed decisions based on that health information. Those with access to Fitbit Labs will be able to ask questions “naturally” and create graphs to help them better understand their own data.
The AI program is the result of collaboration between Fitbit, Google Research and wealth and wellness experts, doctors and certified coaches. Fitbit Labs will use a new Personal Health LLM (Large Language Model), which will power all AI features in Google's portfolio.
According to Google, some Fitbit Labs features will be available later this year to a limited number of Android users enrolled in the Fitbit Labs program in the Fitbit mobile app.
