Which phone is the most powerful? That’s a question that only a benchmark test can answer, and even then, that answer doesn’t guarantee that the phone with the highest score in such a test is the most powerful. But for now, apps like AnTuTu are used to have digital records that phone makers and enthusiasts can refer to when comparing handsets, even if the system itself may be flawed.

A little over a week ago, we told you that the RedMagic 9 Pro, equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and 24 GB of RAM, had set a new record on AnTuTu with a score of 2,290,773. But Here we are on the last day of November and a new phone has pushed the RedMagic 9 Pro to the top of the list. With a score of 2,333,033, say hello to your new AnTuTu record holder, the soon-to-be-introduced OnePlus 12.
The OnePlus 12 is expected to be revealed in China on December 4, with a US introduction planned for January 24. Tipster Digital Chat Station posted an image on social media revealing the device’s AnTuTu score. The OnePlus 12 will feature the Snapdragon 8 generation 3 chipset and 24 GB of LPDDR5X RAM.
The other day, OnePlus China President Li Jie posted on Weibo: “For this product, we have invested the greatest sincerity and efforts in the history of OnePlus. After more than a year of definition, selection and technical research, we have spent a lot of time adjusting, tweaking and optimizing just to create the ultimate product power… today I can finally tell you proudly announce: OnePlus 12 has achieved its product power goal…and its product power can surpass all professional models.”
A vapor chamber is used inside the OnePlus 12 to draw heat away from the chipset and, with the clean UI (which won’t strain the phone’s CPU and memory), powerful chipset and huge amount of phone memory, all combined to allow the OnePlus 12 to set a new AnTuTu record.
