Pixel 8 series update coming soon.\u060c<\/p>\n<div>\n<div>Android 14 QPR2 Beta 1 (AP11.231020.013\/.013.A1\/.014) <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/android_beta\/comments\/17w1rhj\/android_14_qpr2_beta_1_now_available\/\" class=\"external\">is now available<\/a> with the latest bug fixes and performance optimizations.  The update is available for eligible Pixel devices enrolled in the Android Beta for Pixel program and fixes issues with <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/tag\/app\/\"   title=\"app\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">app<\/a> installation, Android Beta Feedback app, and 5G network connection.<\/div>\n<div>The update is 444 MB and includes the November 2023 security patch. Eligible devices include the Pixel 5a, 6, 6 <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/tag\/pro\/\"   title=\"Pro\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">Pro<\/a>, 6a, 7, 7 Pro, 7a, Pixel Fold, and Pixel Tablet. Pixel 8 series update will be available soon.\"\/><\/source><\/source><\/source><\/picture>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h5>Major problems<\/h5>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Fixed an issue that caused the package manager to crash when installing certain applications.<\/li>\n<li>Fixed an issue that sometimes prevented users from submitting feedback using the Android Beta Feedback app.<\/li>\n<li>Fixed an issue that sometimes prevented a device from connecting to a 5G network when it was available.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<h5>Other known issues<\/h5>\n<p>Android platform<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>An issue with some applications that use the metadata element in an unconventional way prevents these applications from being installed by the system.<\/li>\n<li>Sometimes when a user unlocks the device using their fingerprint, there is no haptic feedback.<\/li>\n<li>For <span>Pixel folding<\/span> devices, sometimes after a user unlocks the device while it is folded, the inner screen does not turn on after unfolding the device.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Google Apps<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Assistant At a Glance widget sometimes displays weather information for an incorrect location.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>   <\/h5>\n<\/div>\n<div>This new update is rolling out to eligible devices over-the-air (OTA) and will be automatically installed within five days.  If you want to apply the update immediately, you can check it manually by going to Settings > System > System updates.  However, you must be part of the <span>Android 14<\/span> Beta program in order to receive it.  To do this and register, you can visit <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/android\/beta\" class=\"external\">g.co\/androidbeta<\/a>.<\/div>\n<p>It should be reiterated that the <span>Android 14<\/span> Beta versions are still under development.  Although trying beta software you may enjoy some new features sooner, you may also encounter bugs or issues.
