The new section was designed to recommend various content from the creator&#8217;s channel to YouTube users based on their viewing history.<\/p>\n<p>Announced this <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/tag\/week\/\"   title=\"week\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">week<\/a>, the new feature will roll out to viewers starting November 20, but YouTube creators should already be able to view and configure it as they see fit.<\/p>\n<div class=\"quote quote-auto nolinks\" style=\"width: 100.0%\">\n<p>The \u201cFor You\u201d section gives your audience a personalized experience when they visit your channel\u2019s Home tab.  This section features a mix of personalized content based on what the individual viewer watched.  You can choose which types of content to display and choose to only display recently published content within the last 12 months.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Even though YouTube is currently rolling out this feature, not all creators may have access to it yet.  But if you do, here&#8217;s how you can edit your &#8220;For You&#8221; section:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Log in to YouTube Studio<\/li>\n<li>From the left menu, select Personalization \/ Layout<\/li>\n<li>Scroll down to \u201cRecommendations for your viewers\u201d \u200b\u200band click More Settings.<\/li>\n<li>Select the types of content you want to display and whether you want to display only content published in the last 12 months.<\/li>\n<li>Click Done<\/li>\n<li>Click Publish<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition to this, creators can enable or disable the \u201cFor You\u201d section by following the same procedure, but instead of selecting the content type, enable or disable the section.\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>YouTube update introduces new \u201cFor You\u201d section for creators\u060c Youtube announcement a new feature specially designed for creators, a \u201cFor you\u201d section available from the Home tab.
