It has now entered the Collins Dictionary where it is described as: &#8220;a style of Test cricket in which the batting team plays very aggressively&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>We are particularly touched by the news because &#8220;Bazball&#8221; was coined by Andrew Miller, editor-in-chief of ESPNcricinfo in the <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/tag\/united\/\"   title=\"United\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">United<\/a> Kingdom.  In an episode of the Switch Hit podcast recorded before the <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/tag\/start\/\"   title=\"start\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">start<\/a> of the England v New Zealand series in June 2022, he used it to describe the positive style of play that McCullum&#8217;s former team had adopted under his captaincy.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Bazball is now official, at least lexically speaking.
