The Taiwanese giant has already started teasing some of its specifications, starting with the almighty Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC as the giant has confirmed the chipset.<\/p>\n<h2>ASUS confirms ROG Phone 8 chipset<\/h2>\n<p>Comprising of three models \u2013 ROG Phone 8, ROG Phone 8 <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/tag\/pro\/\"   title=\"Pro\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">Pro<\/a> and ROG Phone 8 Ultimate, the upcoming gaming series will have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC under the hood.  Built on a 4nm node by TSMC, the chipset has a maximum clock speed of 3.3 GHz.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p>It was recently spotted on AnTuTu crossing the 2 million point mark, proving that it is 20% more efficient and 30% more powerful than its predecessor \u2013 the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The chipset uses Cortex-X4 cores, Cortex-A720 and Cortex-A520, which helped it achieve an increase of over 36% in benchmark results before we even got our hands on the chipset.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s not just ASUS, but many smartphone makers have already lined up their flagship device that will use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC under the hood.  Xiaomi has already won the title of &#8220;first smartphone maker to use the chipset&#8221; with the <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/513\/xiaomi-14-pro-rumored-release-date_id151521\/\"   title=\"Xiaomi 14\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">Xiaomi 14<\/a> series, while the AnTuTu leak of the OnePlus 12 also gave us over 2 million points on AnTuTu.  The OnePlus 12 is expected to arrive in China later this year, followed by a launch early next year.<\/p>\n<p>Realme GT5 Pro, iQOO 12 series, Xiaomi Redmi K70 series, and <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/339\/galaxy-s24-series-to-feature-google-bard-assistant\/\"   title=\"Samsung Galaxy S24 series\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">Samsung Galaxy S24 series<\/a>, among others, are also set to launch their flagship phones powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.<\/p>\n<p>As for the ASUS ROG Phone 8 release date, we don&#8217;t have any official information about it.  The ROG Phone 7 arrived in mid-April, which means we could see the ROG Phone 8 around the same time next year.
