For example, Surface Duo users are often the last to benefit from new Microsoft features.  And now Google has done something similar by rolling out a new Chrome feature just for <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/tag\/iphone\/\"   title=\"iPhone\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">iPhone<\/a> owners, at least for now.<\/p>\n<div>As <span style=\"font-style: italic;\"><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/9to5google.com\/2023\/10\/31\/chrome-iphone-bottom-address-bar\/\">9to5Google<\/a><\/span>    Notes, the Android and iOS versions of Chrome are already quite different and now Google has added another differentiating factor. <\/div>\n<div>iPhone users now have the option to move the Chrome address bar to the bottom of the screen for easier access.  Google says it was a <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/blog.google\/products\/chrome\/customize-chrome-ios-address-bar\/\">highly requested feature<\/a>.  It was born from the desire to be able to comfortably type in the address bar depending on the size of your hands or your device.<\/div>\n<div>\n<div id=\"gallery-018c5ff0-4aa2-4db4-b0f4-76f3d1188582\" class=\"single-image-container full-width-element\">\n<div class=\"gallery-item\">\n<picture style=\"padding-top: 66.637931034483%\"><source media=\"(max-width: 350px)\" ><source media=\"(min-width: 351px) and (max-width: 500px)\" ><source media=\"(min-width: 501px) and (max-width: 800px)\" ><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Chrome-feature-that-almost-came-to-Android-is-rolling-out.jpg\" alt=\"The Chrome feature that almost became available on Android is deployed on iPhone\"\/><\/source><\/source><\/source><\/picture>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>In short, since phones are getting bigger and bigger and no one seems to want small phones, some users may find it uncomfortable to access the address bar.  Those who haven&#8217;t requested this feature can simply keep their address bar at its default top position.<\/div>\n<p>To move the address bar to the bottom of the screen, long-press it, then tap &#8220;Move address bar down.&#8221;  You can also go to the Settings menu and select \u201caddress bar\u201d to move it to a new location.  <\/p>\n<div>On the iPhone&#8217;s built-in Safari browser, the address bar is at the bottom, so Google may also allow iOS users to move the address bar down to make it easier for them to switch to their browser. Navigator. <\/div>\n<p>Either way, most users will like this option and Android users with large phones might not take this announcement well.
