Honor’s next flagship, the Magic 6, is expected to arrive early next year given that Magic 5 was introduced in February. If our hypothesis proves correct, the Magic 6 will not be among the first smartphones to be equipped with Qualcomm’s recently announced Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.<\/p>\n
Honor’s next high-end handset will indeed be powered by Qualcomm’s latest chipset, but that’s not the only thing we learned recently. The phone maker is following the market trend, so the Honor Magic 6 will be packed with AI features. <\/p>\n
One of the most important ones we know of is a personal assistant called YOYO. It’s unclear if this will only be available in China or if Honor<\/a> will bring it wherever the phone is sold.<\/p>\n During Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Summit 2023, Honor CEO George Zhao confirmed that the Honor Magic 6 will include a feature that should theoretically allow users to interact with the phone with their eyes.<\/p>\n Powered by Honor’s Magic Capsule technology, the feature is described as “multimodal interaction based on eye tracking” (via The Verge<\/a>). The demo shown during Honor’s keynote certainly has nothing to do with real life, so it will be interesting to see how accurate the technology is.<\/p>\n
