New reports are now coming from South Korea.<\/p>\n<p>Quoted by <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sammobile.com\/news\/galaxy-z-flip-5-retro-edition-launching-november-benz-phone-2003\/\">SamMobile<\/a>the report of <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.news1.kr\/amp\/articles\/?5211045\">news1<\/a> actually gives a date for the alleged <span>Galaxy <span>Z Flip 5<\/span><\/span>    Retro Edition \u2013 November 1. <\/p>\n<p>Sources claim that this device will be launched in South Korea in limited quantities via <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/tag\/galaxy\/\"   title=\"Samsung\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">Samsung<\/a> Universe (pop-up store in Seoul), Samsung Online Store and Samsung Store in Gangnam.<\/p>\n<h2>A blast of Benzes from the past<\/h2>\n<p>The device, as shown in unofficial renders, will come in the same dark blue and silver color combination as the Samsung SGH-E700 phone launched 20 years ago.  This is not at all a coincidence, because the <span>Galaxy <span>Z Flip 5<\/span><\/span>    Retro Edition is said to pay homage to the SGH-E700.  Launched in 2003, it was nicknamed Benz Phone by a Norwegian newspaper which called it the &#8220;Mercedes Benz of cell phones&#8221;. It is also Samsung&#8217;s first mobile phone to reach a sales figure above 10 million.  Pretty cool!<\/p>\n<p>Now let&#8217;s see the renderings of the <span>Galaxy <span>Z Flip 5<\/span><\/span>    Retro edition we mentioned above, courtesy of <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/mspoweruser.com\/samsung-galaxy-z-flip-5-retro-edition\/\">MSPower User<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p>According to these, the phone will have a pastel blue color on the back and silver on the sides.  The back has a matte finish, while its side rails are made of aluminum.
