This addition will allow users to quickly disconnect their phone from the car&#8217;s infotainment system.<\/p>\n<div>Originally spotted by Mishaal Rahman, a new \u201cDisconnect\u201d button appears in the Android Auto notification shade on Android phones. This will be especially useful in cases where several users, already configured for a wireless connection in a car, are there at the same time.<\/div>\n<div>In these cases, users who didn&#8217;t need to be connected had to either put their phone in airplane mode (or turn off Bluetooth) or physically disconnect the Android Auto adapter if one was in use.  This can be inconvenient and time-consuming, especially if you&#8217;re traveling.<\/div>\n<p>The new \u201cDisconnect\u201d button now gives you an easy <a href=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/3944\/original_title-165\/\">way to end an Android<\/a> Auto connection by simply tapping it and confirming your intention.  The Android Auto app will then disconnect from the car&#8217;s infotainment system and you can use your phone normally.<\/p>\n<div>Starting today, the Android Auto app update to version 10.6 is rolling out via the Play Store.
