White said Jones tore a pectoral tendon during Monday night&#8217;s practice and would need surgery that would keep him out about eight months.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"inline editorial float-r\" data-behavior=\"article_related\">\n<h2 class=\"editorial-title\">Editor&#8217;s Choice<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Jon-Jones-fight-vs-Stipe-Miocic-at-UFC-295-off.jpg&#038;w=130&#038;h=130&#038;scale=crop&#038;location=center.jpeg\" width=\"65\" height=\"65\"\/><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/aside>\n<p>The vacant light heavyweight title fight between former champion JiY\u00ed Proch\u00e1zka and former middleweight titleholder Alex Pereira will now be headlined at Madison Square Garden.  There will also be a new fight added as a co-main event: Tom Aspinall vs. Sergei Pavlovich for the interim heavyweight title.<\/p>\n<p>Miocic will no longer compete on the card with the loss of the high-profile fight against Jones.
