The use of passwords, a safer and more convenient way to log into websites and apps, has gained traction recently, with many apps implementing support for them. The latest of these sites is Amazon, which has started rolling out support for this new sign-in method on iOS<\/a> and the web. <\/p>\n It\u2019s about providing customers with ease of use and security in their Amazon experience simultaneously. Although passwords will continue to exist for the foreseeable future, this is an exciting<\/a> step in the right direction. Once a password has been added to an account, customers can sign in with it on any supported device or browser.<\/p>\n Our research shows that consumers are tired of the hassle and complexity of passwords, and are happy to embrace password logins, which allow them to simply and securely access online services and can turn the tide against the current scourge of data breaches and identity theft.
