There are between two and four months until the OnePlus 12 is officially announced (if the speculation proves true), but here’s another set of specifications leaked ahead of time.<\/p>\n
The latest person responsible for the reveal of the song on the OnePlus 12 is Yogesh Brar (@heyitsyogesh<\/a>). X users say they are disappointed with the main camera sensor and were expecting something more. The sensor behind the main camera of the OnePlus 12 is said to be a new one, called Sony<\/a> IMX966, which does not offer a 1-inch sensor. form factor (quite huge by phone standards), but smaller with a 1\/1.4 inch form factor. The leaked information claims that the IMX966 features OIS (optical image stabilization), a bright wide aperture at f\/1.7, and a 23mm equivalent field of view.<\/p>\n The most dismayed say they expected the OnePlus 12 to sport a 1-inch Sony IMX989 sensor \u2013 the same one found on devices like the Find X6 Pro, Xiaomi 13 Pro, Xiaomi 12S Ultra, the dream camera phone Vivo<\/a> X90 Pro Plus and more.<\/p>\n Then, the ultra-wide camera on the back could be powered by the popular Sony IMX581 sensor (1\/2-inch form factor) with an aperture of f\/2.2 and a 14mm equivalent field of view. The IMX581’s capabilities are no secret: it’s used in the OnePlus 11, as well as the recently announced Oppo<\/a> Find N3 Flip and OnePlus Open.<\/p>\n On the telephoto front, things deviate from its predecessor: the OnePlus 11 relied on the Sony IMX709 32MP sensor for 2X zoom. Now, the tipster claims that the OnePlus 12 will use the OmniVision OV64B sensor for 3X optical zoom (70mm) and up to 120X digital zoom \u2013 it’s also used on the OnePlus Open<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n
