But a recent announcement from <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/tag\/google\/\"   title=\"Google\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">Google<\/a> could finally banish this problem for good.<\/div>\n<p>On Android Public Issue Tracker, a <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/issuetracker.google.com\/issues\/305195207?pli=1\" class=\"external\">extended thread<\/a> reveals how much pain many people feel.  Since October, growing complaints from <span>Pixel 8<\/span> and 8 <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/tag\/pro\/\"   title=\"Pro\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">Pro<\/a> owners describing choppy scrolling experiences caught Google&#39;s attention.  However, complaints quickly spread to other Pixel models, suggesting that the problem lies somewhere in the Pixel launcher&#39;s Android code.<\/p>\n<h2>Android 15 to the rescue?<\/h2>\n<p>Google&#39;s response to the thread (as spotted by <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.androidpolice.com\/google-just-marked-pixel-scrolling-stutter-as-fixed\/\" class=\"external\">Android Font<\/a>) indicates that the &#8220;next version of Android&#8221; (read: <span>Android 15<\/span>) will include a fix.  This solution ?  A <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/tag\/series\/\"   title=\"series\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">series<\/a> of optimizations aimed at fixing that dreaded \u201cUI Jank\u201d.  The correct answer states:<\/p>\n<blockquote style=\"margin: 0 0 0 40px; border: none; padding: 0px;\">\n<p><span style=\"font-style: italic;\">\u201cContinued performance and power optimizations are planned for the next version of Android.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-style: italic;\">\u201cThese include improvements that positively impact the entire system user interface as well as use cases related to certain Android applications.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div><\/p>\n<h2>This is not a new event<\/h2>\n<p>This isn&#39;t the first time Google has acknowledged the problem and promised a fix.  These same scrolling issues already plagued the Pixel 7 when it first launched, forcing Google to quickly work on a fix rolled out as part of an Android 13 update.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>While Pixel phones are generally great devices and truly my personal preference for a clean Android experience, I have to admit that Google regularly misses the mark with them.  Even with a fully developed Android beta program, serious bugs can still be fixed.  Hopefully history doesn&#39;t repeat itself with the long wait <span>Android 15<\/span>The final version of.
