One is good news and the other is bad, but you still have a few days to review all your options and decide how and when to go about activating a new line to minimize your expenses.

The two key changes that the “Un-carrier” plans to implement on April 3 have actually been leaked and discussed before, which is why they may seem familiar to some of our more dedicated readers.

To start with the good news, we are happy to announce that the “2 for $75 Unlimited” offer originally planned for last week has simply been delayed at the eleventh hour rather than canceled. This means that we will absolutely have to wait until next week to open two new lines of TMobile Unlimited prepaid service at a promotional price of $75 per month.

That's down from $85 at the time of this writing when you factor in the free Mexico and Canada add-on, and on top of that nice $10 monthly discount, T-Mo will also forgo its DCC (Device Connection) one-time initial $25. Charge).

Be careful, all other unlimited prepaid prices will remain the same after April 3, so if you only need one new line of service, it's probably a good idea to get it before next Wednesday.

This is because April 3 is also the time when TMobile plans to start charging $25 for all new “device connections” on its prepaid service. This fee was originally intended to replace the significantly lower $10 tax on the prepaid SIM starter kit on March 21, but for some reason this was pushed back Also.

Before you even think about it, there's almost no chance that T-Mo will change its mind and reverse this revision altogether, and the same goes for a second new prepaid fee that's still scheduled to go into effect on April 25 .

It's perhaps even more egregious, adding $5 to your monthly bill every time you make a payment in store. If this is a problem, you should probably just switch to a digital payment method…or another carrier.

You now have until April 3 to prepare yourself for a new T-Mobile deal and a new fee، If you're considering becoming a T-Mobile prepaid customer, there are two new things you need to know.
