However, this subscription did not include any additional features. The cheapest tier will offer full functionality. However, this will not reduce the number of ads users have to see. <\/p>\n The other level would, however, be more expensive. It will include all the basic features, and what’s more, it won’t display any ads. This is a new attempt to increase the platform’s revenue by charging regular users.<\/p>\n Although the billionaire did not mention the details of the lower and higher subscriptions, X recently tested a $1 subscription plan in the Philippines and New Zealand just to access the platform. Musk believes this will help reduce the number of bot accounts on X.<\/p>\n Once this subscription launches globally, those who opt out will only be able to read others’ tweets and watch videos on the app<\/a>, which in theory should help reduce bot activity on X.
