Dragon\u2019s Dogma 2 Getting Option to Start a New Game ‘When Save Data Already Exists’\u060c<\/p>\n

When it was released last week, Dogma of Dragons 2<\/strong> didn't get off to a great start, with fans having issues with some aspects of the long-awaited sequel. Since then, developer Capcom has acknowledged some of the complaints<\/a> and recently listed some changes coming to the game.<\/p>\n

The studio thanks fans for their patience<\/h2>\n

In a post on X, the developer said that it plans to release patches in the future, some of which will include fixes. The post is accompanied by an image detailing some of the upcoming updates and adjustments.<\/p>\n

For starters, one of the big changes coming to Dragon's Dogma 2 is the implementation of an option to start<\/a> a new game “when save data already exists. <\/p>\n

This refers to one of the things fans have been up against, where only one save file can be played, with no option to start over. This change affects all platforms, but it is unclear when updates and patches will start rolling out.<\/p>\n

Capcom also announced that it would add additional features to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series<\/a> X|S ports of the game, such as the ability to turn motion blur on or off. In addition to this, there are plans to improve the quality of DLSS Super Resolution on Steam, as well as fix an issue where models may appear low quality.<\/p>\n

At the time of writing, Dragon's Dogma 2<\/strong> has a evaluation score<\/a> of “mixed” on PC, with fans criticizing certain aspects like the game's performance. Hopefully Capcom can win<\/a> back players, especially since it's a sequel that lasted almost 12 years.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
