One of the main features was a revamped fitness tracking interface, bringing the first-generation smartwatch in line with the Pixel Watch 2&#39;s streamlined workout experience.<\/p>\n<p>The previous <span>Pixel Watch<\/span> The workout UI, while functional, was not ideal.  A single large metric dominated the screen, with three smaller stats crammed beneath it. This provides a much clearer view, allowing you to check things like heart rate, calories burned, and elapsed time at a glance.  This will definitely be most useful in the middle of a workout. <\/p>\n<p>Heart rate zones also get an interesting visual representation: a filled heart icon.  Other subtle tweaks are also present, like a change in the shape of the end, resume, and lock buttons, which are now pills instead of circles.  These small changes add to the polish of the new user interface.<\/p>\n<p>These changes arrive via Fitbit 3.19 for Wear OS, which you&#39;ll likely find waiting for you on the Play Store on watch.  There is one quirk mentioned by 9to5 regarding this update, which is that you will probably have to restart your computer. <span>Pixel Watch<\/span> after the update in order to see the new user interface.<\/p>\n<p>It is very encouraging to see Google offering features of the <span>Pixel Watch 2<\/span> to the original <span>Pixel Watch<\/span>, which was lacking on many fronts when it initially launched.
