To open the code scanner from the Control Center, go to Go to <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Settings<\/span> > <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Control center<\/span>, then press the green \u201cInsert button\u201d with the plus icon next to Code Scanner.  Swipe down from the right corner to open Control Center.  Tap the code scanner, then position the iPhone so that the QR code appears on the screen.
