The OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro, as well as the OnePlus 8T, received promised Android 14 updates a few weeks ago. However, the update was only available for unlocked versions of the phones, at least in the United States.<\/p>\n
Well, it took a while, but T Mobile<\/span> customers who purchased the OnePlus 9\/9 Pro<\/a> or OnePlus 8T are finally receiving the update as well. The information was recently confirmed by a reliable tipster 1NormalUsername<\/a>with some members of the OnePlus community (via AndroidAuthority<\/a>).<\/p>\n Just like the update that upgraded the unlocked OnePlus 9, 9 Pro, and 8T, the T-Mobile version brings the January 2024 security patch, along with several improvements:<\/p>\n System<\/span><\/p>\n Communication<\/span><\/p>\n Connections<\/span><\/p>\n Camera<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n As always, this update is rolling out in stages, meaning it will reach a small percentage of users over the first few days. A wider rollout is expected to begin next week<\/a>. The bad news is that this is the last major Android update for the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 8T series<\/a>.
