We've been waiting for the foldable revolution for a while now, and it looks like we're finally going to get it. According to the latest industry insiders, Samsung will launch an FE version of its most popular foldable phone, the Galaxy Z Fold.<\/p>\n

The Galaxy Z Fold 6 FE will be the entry-level foldable to finally make these devices mainstream and once again give Samsung<\/a> an advantage over the competition. The Korean company was the first to make foldable devices accessible to a wider audience, and now it's time to get a Fold device into everyone's hands.<\/p>\n

Here's everything we know about the next one Galaxy Z-fold 6<\/span><\/span> FE. Keep in mind that at this point all information is based on leaks and rumors, so take it with a grain of salt.<\/div>\n\n

Given that the news of a possible Galaxy Z-fold 6<\/span><\/span> The FE device just broke, the release date is firmly in the realm of speculation at the moment.<\/p>\n

That said, we can extrapolate a possible date from our experience and the knowledge we have gained over the years in the industry. First, we're pretty sure Samsung will unveil its next-generation flagship foldables, the Galaxy Z-fold 6<\/span><\/span> And Z Flip 6<\/span>during July 2024.<\/p>\n

Second, we know from the ticking cycle of previous FE devices that Samsung leaves a big gap between the full-fledged model and the FE version. The S23 series<\/a>, for example, was launched in February last year, while the S23 FE was announced in October of the same year. This 8-month gap could be carried over to Galaxy Z-fold 6<\/span><\/span> FE announcement.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, if the company wants to speed things up, we could obtain the Galaxy Z-fold 6<\/span><\/span> FE as early as October this year, which means only a few months after the regular race Z-fold 6<\/span>. There is some slight confusion surrounding the name of this affordable foldable. Not a single source mentions the Fold as a set-in-stone nickname for the device. That being said, at a starting price of $800, we don't expect it to be a Galaxy Z Flip 6 FE, as the Flip series is already quite affordable.<\/div>\n

Obviously, to make an FE edition of a flagship phone, and a foldable one at that, you need to cut a few shortcuts and sacrifice a feature or two.<\/p>\n

We do not expect that Galaxy Z-fold 6<\/span><\/span> FE to get the S24 Ultra's 200 MP main camera<\/a>, and the best we can hope to get is the same configuration as the Galaxy Z Fold 5. This makes sense if Samsung wants to follow the Fan Edition logic of previous devices.<\/p>\n

So, best case scenario, we'll get the same 50+10+12MP triple camera setup as the Z fold 5<\/span>. Probably the worst Samsung can do is equip the Z-fold 6<\/span> FE with a 12MP dual camera setup, similar to the Z Flip 5.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
