Like every other big company these days, Qualcomm is all about AI.<\/p>\n<p>The recently announced Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset was specifically created to leverage high-level capabilities in on-device generative AI features, photography, and gaming experiences.<\/p>\n<p>Key features of Qualcomm&#39;s chipset include an always-sensing ISP, incredibly realistic mobile gaming, revolutionary connectivity, lossless high-definition audio, as well as support for powerful on-device generative AI features.<\/p>\n<p>Also, Qualcomm <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.qualcomm.com\/news\/releases\/2024\/03\/qualcomm-brings-the-best-of-on-device-ai-to-more-smartphones-wit\" class=\"external\">confirmed<\/a> that the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset supports multiple AI models such as Baichuan-7B, Llama 2, Gemini Nano, and Zhipu ChatGLM.<\/p>\n<p>The Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset is manufactured using 4nm technology and features a Cortex-X4 main core clocked at 3 GHz, four performance cores (up to 2.8 GHz), and three efficiency cores ( up to 2 GHz).<\/p>\n<p>It is important to add that the chip comes with a Qualcomm Spectra ISP (Image Signal Processor), as well as support for triple <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/tag\/video\/\"   title=\"video\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">video<\/a> capture from HDR image sensors: up to 36 MP triple camera at 30 fps, up to 64+36 MP dual camera at 30 fps, single camera up to 108 MP at 30 fps and photo capture up to 200 MP.<\/p>\n<div><\/p>\n<div id=\"gallery-08102a9e-548a-4f0e-a29a-88030b4cc3c9\" class=\"single-image-container full-width-element\">\n<div class=\"gallery-item\">\n<picture style=\"padding-top: 55.876685934489%\"><source media=\"(max-width: 350px)\" ><source media=\"(min-width: 351px) and (max-width: 500px)\" ><source media=\"(min-width: 501px) and (max-width: 800px)\" ><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Qualcomms-new-Snapdragon-8s-Gen-3-chipset-is-all-about.jpg\" alt=\"Qualcomm&#39;s new Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset is all about AI\"\/><\/source><\/source><\/source><\/picture>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>Qualcomm has also included support for on-device display 4K at 60Hz and QHD+ at 144Hz, as well as external display support up to 8K UHD at 30Hz and up to 1 080 to 240 Hz maximum.<\/p>\n<p>As for memory, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 supports LP-DDR5x memory (up to 4,200 MHz) and up to 24 GB of RAM.<\/p>\n<p>According to Qualcomm, several smartphone manufacturers have already confirmed that their products will be equipped with the new Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, including Honor, iQOO, realme, Redmi and Xiaomi.
