He continued to play the next few minutes but ultimately left the game and did not return.<\/p>\n<p>Davis&#39; vision was impaired and his eye closed after the contact, a source familiar with the matter told ESPN.  He will be monitored throughout the night and Sunday to determine his availability Monday against the Atlanta Hawks.<\/p>\n<p>LA outscored Golden State by six in the 12 minutes Davis played, with the Lakers&#39; All-Star big <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/tag\/man\/\"   title=\"man\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">man<\/a> posting 8 points on 3-of-6 shooting, 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 block.<\/p>\n<p>Backup big Jaxson Hayes replaced Davis and finished with seven points and 12 rebounds in 28 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>The Warriors (35-31) won 128-121 to edge the Lakers (36-32) by one percentage point \u2013 0.530 to 0.529 \u2013 for ninth place in the Western Conference standings.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lakers&#8217; Anthony Davis forced out vs. Warriors with eye injury\u060c Dave McMenamin, ESPN editorMarch 17, 2024, 02:26 Close Lakers and NBA reporter for ESPN.
