Yeah, I think he&#8217;ll give it a shot,&#8221; Campbell said Friday.  \u201cHe looked pretty good yesterday.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Gibbs, the No. 12 pick in the 2023 draft, had missed the last two weeks of practice before returning to action on a limited basis this <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/tag\/week\/\"   title=\"week\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">week<\/a>.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"inline editorial float-r\" data-behavior=\"article_related\">\n<h2 class=\"editorial-title\">Editor&#8217;s Choice<\/h2>\n<p>2 Related<\/p>\n<\/aside>\n<p>Detroit&#8217;s running back team has taken a big hit, with leader David Montgomery likely out &#8220;a little bit&#8221; with a rib cartilage injury, according to Campbell.  The Lions improved to 5-1 with a 20-6 <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/tag\/win\/\"   title=\"win\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">win<\/a> over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 6, but were held to a season-low 40 rushing yards.<\/p>\n<p>Campbell expects Gibbs to immediately take on the heavy workload in Baltimore.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Certainly, I think he&#8217;s going to have to take the brunt of it. We&#8217;re just going to have to see where he&#8217;s at,&#8221; Campbell said.  &#8220;I would like to say we want to be careful with him, but the reality is we need him. So we&#8217;ll go as far as he can take us here, trying to be as smart as possible, but he&#8217;s I gotta go. And he&#8217;s ready.<\/p>\n<p>Through four games, Gibbs has 39 carries for 179 yards, which is the second most on the team.
