Some will appreciate the mid-ranger&#39;s 6.6-inch screen, as opposed to the 6.1-inch screen of last year&#39;s vanilla flagship.  Or the larger battery (5,000 mAh versus 3,900 mAh) of the Galaxy A55.<\/p>\n<p>However, when it comes to the chipset, the Exynos 1480 in the Galaxy A55 is simply no match for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 in the Galaxy S23.  Not to mention the other goodies available on the vanilla flagship like wireless charging, a dedicated zoom <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/tag\/camera\/\"   title=\"camera\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">camera<\/a>, 8K video recording capabilities.  , and more.<\/p>\n<p>In other words, apart from people who are interested in the latest technologies available, who would prefer the <span>Galaxy A55<\/span> on the Galaxy S23?<\/p>\n<p>Well, those who don&#39;t want to spend a ton of money on a 2023 flagship now that we&#39;re fully into 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Fortunately, there is no need to choose between the two in the <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/tag\/united\/\"   title=\"United\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">United<\/a> States, as the <span>Galaxy A55<\/span> will not reach the New World.  As we reported, <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/tag\/galaxy\/\"   title=\"Samsung\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">Samsung<\/a> will launch the Galaxy A35 5G in the US, but not the Galaxy A55 5G.<\/p>\n<p>This is a turning point in Sammy&#39;s strategy, as the Galaxy A54, A53, A52, A51 and A50 have all been officially launched in the United States.<\/p>\n<p>Return to <span>Galaxy S23<\/span>However: last year&#39;s flagship product is the reason why the <span>Galaxy A55<\/span> does not reach the United States.<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.androidauthority.com\/galaxy-a55-not-launching-usa-3424471\/\" class=\"external\">Android Authority<\/a> has an official statement from Samsung (something we also assumed when the news broke):<\/p>\n<div class=\"quote quote-auto nolinks\" style=\"width: 100.0%\">\n<p>We can confirm that the Galaxy A35 5G will be coming to the US market and look forward to sharing more details in the coming weeks.  Although we won&#39;t be offering the Galaxy A55 5G at this time, consumers can still enjoy our Galaxy innovation at a great price with the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 FE.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>According to the report, one can get the Samsung <span>Galaxy S23<\/span> for as low as $534 in the US, while the S23 FE costs around $549.
