According to court documents shared with ESPN, a new hearing will take place on April 26, when &#8220;the defense will claim an abuse of process.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>She was charged with causing harassment, alarm or distress to a police officer during an incident in Twickenham, southwest London, on January 30, 2023, according to the Crown Prosecution Service.<\/p>\n<p>If Kerr&#39;s legal team fails at the April hearing, a trial is expected to take place next February &#8211; with two police officers expected to testify &#8211; and is expected to last four days.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"inline inline-photo full\">\n<figure><picture><source data- media=\"(min-width: 376px)\"><source data- media=\"(max-width: 375px)\"><img class=\" lazyload lazyload\" data-image-container=\".inline-photo\" height=\"320\" width=\"570\"\/><\/source><\/source><\/picture><figcaption class=\"photoCaption\">Sam Kerr was accused of racist harassment following an incident at Twickenham on January 30 last year. <cite>Chloe Knott &#8211; Danehouse\/Getty Images<\/cite><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/aside>\n<p>Kerr is one of Australia&#39;s most recognizable personalities.  She is the country&#39;s all-time leading scorer in international <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/tag\/football\/\"   title=\"football\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">football<\/a>, with 69 goals in 128 matches.
