Most of these iPhone buyers opt for an existing model to save money;  That said, a surprising share will buy the latest <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/tag\/pro\/\"   title=\"Pro\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">Pro<\/a> or Pro Max model.<\/p>\n<div>In the 12 months ending December 2023, 29% of Android users who switched to iPhone purchased the iPhone SE 3, iPhone 12, and iPhone 13\/iPhone 13 mini models.  What&#39;s interesting here is that the percentage of iPhone owners upgrading to one of these models was less than 21% over the same period.  In 2023, while 51% of Android users purchased an iPhone 14 <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/tag\/series\/\"   title=\"series\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">series<\/a> model (this line was the newest available for 75% of 2023), 56% of those who upgraded their iPhone found themselves with the <span>iPhone14<\/span>iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.<\/div>\n<div>\n<div id=\"gallery-13467921-5c4f-4b73-b7a5-65d2d118b396\" class=\"single-image-container  image-c\" style=\"width:1124px;max-width:100%\">\n<div class=\"gallery-item\">\n<picture style=\"padding-top: 72.775800711744%\"><source media=\"(max-width: 350px)\" ><source media=\"(min-width: 351px) and (max-width: 500px)\" ><source media=\"(min-width: 501px) and (max-width: 800px)\" ><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Android-users-switching-to-iPhone-usually-purchase-legacy-or-less.jpg\" alt=\"iPhone Models Purchased by Android Switches or iPhone Upgrades \u2013 Android users who switch to iPhone usually purchase older or cheaper models\"\/><\/source><\/source><\/source><\/picture>\n<\/div>\n<p>iPhone Models Purchased by Android Switches or iPhone Upgrades<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>CIRP found that 37% of Android users have purchased a <span>iPhone14<\/span> or the iPhone 15 Pro series model, while the number of iPhone users switching to one of these models was 43%.  So why do Android users switching to an iPhone usually <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/tag\/start\/\"   title=\"start\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">start<\/a> with one of the cheaper phones?  CIRP suggests that one reason could be that many of them come from cheaper Android phones and older, non-Pro iPhone models fit their budget.  That makes sense.<\/div>\n<p>Additionally, CIRP suggests that Android users might not feel the need to buy the latest iPhone model with all the new features.
