{"id":27182,"date":"2024-02-22T23:41:40","date_gmt":"2024-02-22T20:41:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/27182\/tiger-woods-son-charlie-falls\/"},"modified":"2024-02-22T23:41:41","modified_gmt":"2024-02-22T20:41:41","slug":"tiger-woods-son-charlie-falls","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/?p=27182","title":{"rendered":"Tiger Woods&#8217; son Charlie falls short in PGA Tour pre-qualifier"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Tiger Woods&#8217; son Charlie falls short in PGA Tour pre-qualifier\u060c<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Charlie Woods&#39; hopes of playing in the PGA Tour&#39;s Cognizant Classic next week ended when the 15-year-old son of golfing great Tiger Woods failed to qualify at a pre-qualifying event at Hobe Sound , in Florida, Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Woods came out with the early starters and shot a 16-over 86 at Lost Lake Golf Club, which was one of four pre-qualifying sites.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"inline inline-photo full\">\n<figure><picture><source data- media=\"(min-width: 376px)\"><source data- media=\"(max-width: 375px)\"><img class=\" lazyload lazyload\" data-image-container=\".inline-photo\" height=\"320\" width=\"570\"\/><\/source><\/source><\/picture><figcaption class=\"photoCaption\">Charlie Woods, 15, shot an 86-over 16 in a PGA Tour pre-qualifying event Thursday. <cite>Getty Images<\/cite><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/aside>\n<p>With preferred lies in effect and players using carts, Woods was 4 over par through his first five holes before his round ended with a disastrous 12 at the par-4 seventh hole.<\/p>\n<p>But Woods responded calmly with a run of six pars before a double bogey at the par-3 14th which he followed with two consecutive bogeys before closing his round with a pair of pars.<\/p>\n<p>Woods played alongside Olin Browne Jr. \u2013 son of three-time PGA Tour winner Olin Browne \u2013 who carded a 2-over 72.<\/p>\n<p>The top five scores and ties from each of the pre-qualifying sites advance to Monday&#39;s qualifier.
