Warframe, the free-to-play third-person shooter and multiplayer online action role-playing game developed by Digital Extremes, is now available on iOS devices. Officially revealed last year, the iOS version of Warframe is not just a simple port of the PC game.<\/p>\n
iPhone<\/a> and iPad gamers benefit from exclusive mobile features designed to enhance the gaming experience on touchscreens. One of the most important mobile features is called \u201cAutomated Attacks\u201d.<\/p>\n This was implemented to support fast-paced, mobility-based gameplay on mobile devices. For example, shooting and melee attacks have been automated, so when a player moves the crosshairs over a target, the game will automatically trigger primary and secondary weapons. Additionally, when a player's character is positioned next to an enemy, they will automatically attack the target in melee combat. <\/p>\n In addition to automated attacks, mobile players receive the Sensor Ring, which should provide directional indicators for out-of-frame objects. This is a very useful gaming feature given that mobile phones have much smaller screens, so it can be difficult to keep track of important objectives.<\/p>\n Another major mobile exclusive feature is the virtual Bullet Jump button. Holding this button will allow players to aim their jump by adjusting the camera<\/a> on the right side of the screen.<\/p>\n
