Since the phone marks the brand's entry into a new segment, we have been following all the discussions and rumors about it. Today we've teamed up with popular tipster @OnLeaks to bring our readers their first look at high-quality 5K renders of the Nothing Phone (2a), which reveal the phone in all its glory.

Nothing Phone (2a) 5K CAD renderings

The first renders of the phone (2a) based on 5K CAD show the smartphone in its dark gray color. Nothing has been done for a slightly different design approach with this model. Unlike the Phone (1) and Phone (2), the dual camera setup on the rear panel is aligned horizontally inside a centrally placed circular island.

In the center of the island are two sensors inside a pill-shaped cutout. Around the cutout is a concentric design that extends to the edge of the island. The flash module is positioned at the top right of the camera modules. Surrounding the camera island are Nothing's iconic Glyph Lights. In total, the phone has three light strips: two to the left and one vertical strip to the right.

The semi-transparent design also reveals a bunch of screws and a curved element that extends from the camera island to the bottom of the smartphone. The phone also has Nothing branding on the bottom left corner. Additionally, the smartphone has a bold and unique look that nothing is known for.

Nothing Leaked Phone (2a) Specifications

Corroborating our previous report from December 2023, the Nothing Phone (2a) will indeed come with a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen supporting a 120Hz refresh rate. Regarding optics, the smartphone will feature two sensors Samsung: ISOCELL S5KG9 50MP primary (with OIS) and ISOCELL JN1 50MP secondary for clicking ultra-wide images. On the front, users will get a 32 MP selfie camera.

Contrary to previous rumors, the Nothing Phone (2a) will not feature the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC. Instead, the handset will be the first to ship with the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro SoC. This fits with discussions around the smartphone having a bespoke MediaTek chipset, as no other smartphone has the Dimensity 7200 Pro SoC.

Besides the new processor, the phone (2a) will feature “8/12 GB RAM + 128/256 GB storage”. The smartphone will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 45W wired charging. Out of the box, the smartphone will run NOthing OS 2.5.2 based on Android 14. Its dimensions are around 162, 2 x 76.5 x 8.7mm. The device is expected to weigh 188 grams.

[Exclusive] Nothing Phone (2a) 5K Renders And Specifications، Nothing Phone (2a) will be launched in India on March 5, 2024.
