According to <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/If%20you're%20a%20T-Mobile%20subscriber,%20Friday%20morning%20you%20might%20have%20realized%20that%20there%20was%20something%20going%20on%20with%20the%20carrier's%20network.%20According%20to%20DownDetector,%20the%20number%20of%20complaints%20it%20received%20about%20the%20nation's%20second-largest%20wireless%20provider%20having%20an%20issue%20soared%20100%20fold%20with%2042%20submissions%20at%204:41%20am%20ET%20soaring%20to%20a%20peak%20of%204,748%20exactly%20two%20hours%20later.%20%20%20A%20whopping%2075%%20said%20that%20they%20could%20not%20get%20confirmation%20that%20a%20SMS%20text%20that%20they%20sent%20had%20been%20received%20although%20some%20of%20them%20did%20make%20it%20to%20the%20recipient.%2019%%20of%20those%20reporting%20to%20DownDetector%20about%20the%20outage%20said%20that%20they%20could%20not%20send%20or%20receive%20phone%20calls,%20and%206%%20had%20issues%20with%20their%205G%20home%20internet.%20%20At%201:26%20pm%20ET,%20the%20number%20of%20new%20reports%20had%20dried%20up%20significantly%20to%2096.%20The%20Mobile%20Report%20received%20a%20statement%20from%20T-Mobile%20that%20said,%20\" we=\"\" resolved=\"\" an=\"\" issue=\"\" that=\"\" caused=\"\" some=\"\" customers=\"\" to=\"\" experience=\"\" intermittent=\"\" issues=\"\" with=\"\" texting=\"\" and=\"\" calling=\"\" for=\"\" a=\"\" short=\"\" period=\"\" this=\"\" was=\"\" related=\"\" planned=\"\" work=\"\" on=\"\" our=\"\" apologize=\"\" any=\"\" img=\"\" center=\"\" inline=\"\" t-mobile=\"\" had=\"\" deal=\"\" others=\"\" friday=\"\" the=\"\" problems=\"\" experienced=\"\" by=\"\" affected=\"\" subscribers=\"\" in=\"\" major=\"\" cities=\"\" including=\"\" new=\"\" york=\"\" los=\"\" making=\"\" matters=\"\" s=\"\" support=\"\" phone=\"\" number=\"\" also=\"\" not=\"\" as=\"\" you=\"\" might=\"\" mvnos=\"\" using=\"\" networks=\"\" were=\"\" outage=\"\" already=\"\" pointed=\"\" due=\"\" maintenance=\"\" being=\"\" i=\"\" wondering=\"\" whether=\"\" received=\"\" advanced=\"\" notification=\"\" carrier=\"\" doing=\"\" could=\"\" impact=\"\" service=\"\" similar=\"\" signs=\"\" put=\"\" up=\"\" highway=\"\" warn=\"\" drivers=\"\" expect=\"\" certain=\"\" lanes=\"\" be=\"\" closed=\"\" specific=\"\" day=\"\" good=\"\" news=\"\" is=\"\" started=\"\" going=\"\" away=\"\" pretty=\"\" early=\"\" reports=\"\" stating=\"\" return=\"\" normal=\"\" at=\"\" am=\"\" class=\"external\">Fault detector<\/a>the number of complaints received regarding an issue with the nation&#39;s second-largest wireless provider increased 100-fold with 42 submissions as of 4:41 a.m. ET, reaching a peak of 4,748 exactly two hours later. <\/div>\n<p>A whopping 75% said they couldn&#39;t get confirmation that a text message they sent had been received, even though some of them reached the recipient.  19% of those who declare <span style=\"\">Fault detector<\/span> about the outage said they couldn&#39;t send or receive phone calls, and 6% had problems with their 5G home internet.<\/p>\n<div>As of 1:26 p.m. ET, the number of new reports had reduced significantly to 96. <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/tmo.report\/2024\/02\/calls-and-sms-texting-appears-to-be-partially-down-for-t-mobile-customers\/\" class=\"external\">The mobile report<\/a> received a declaration from <span>TMobile<\/span> which said: &#8220;We fixed an issue that was causing some customers to experience intermittent texting and calling issues for a short period overnight. This was related to planned work on our network. Worse still, <span>TMobile<\/span>The 611 support phone number for subscribers was also not working. <\/p>\n<p>As you would expect, MVNOs using <span>TMobile<\/span>The operator&#39;s networks were also affected by the outage which, as we have already highlighted, was due to planned maintenance on the operator&#39;s network.  Not to be a <span>TMobile<\/span> subscriber, I was wondering if <span>TMobile<\/span> subscribers received advance notification on Friday morning indicating that the operator was carrying out work on the network that could have an impact on the service.
