When the feature is active, you long-press the RCS message you want to edit and tap the pencil icon that will appear on the top action line.<\/div>\n<div>Tap the pencil icon and you will see a box with the title \u201cEdit Post\u201d.  After editing the message, press the send\/enter button.  AssembleDebug managed to get the edit button to appear, but it looks like the feature isn&#39;t working yet, indicating that <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/tag\/google\/\"   title=\"Google\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">Google<\/a> is still working on the feature. Android users have been asking for this feature for a long time and eventually it will be available for them.  But if you try to enable the feature now, recipients will not see the edits correctly and edited messages will supposedly appear as separate messages.  When the feature works, the edited message replaces the original one sent.<\/p>\n<p>To find out if you are a beta tester of the Google Messages app, open the Play Store and search for the Google Messages listing.
