Motorola launches cheapest $90 Android 14 phone that still beats the iPhone 15 specs\u060c<\/p>\n

Motorola has just released what could be considered the world's cheapest phone with Android 14. The Motorola Moto G04<\/a> starts for the equivalent of $85 and will be released on February 22. The “top” version of the Moto G04 comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage but will still cost less than $100, just like the current Moto G Play promotion in the US.<\/p>\n

For this extremely affordable price, the Moto G04 offers a 50% faster display than the $700 iPhone 15, once again highlighting how fragmentation between Apple's iPhone Pro<\/a> and mainstream lineups is become inexplicable. We recently highlighted that the Galaxy S24's new display specs make the iPhone15<\/span> the price seems even more exorbitant and now even the modest Moto G04 manages to beat the iPhone in one important aspect.<\/div>\n
The Motorola<\/a> G04, for example, has a 90 Hz display refresh, while the iPhone15<\/span> is still stuck with the slow, choppy 60Hz refresh that even $100 phones can now beat. Needless to say, most of its other specs are well below what the iPhone offers, but the mere fact that it can even challenge it to a certain extent is rather worrying.<\/div>\n

The Moto G04 also comes with a massive 5,000mAh battery which should allow it to comfortably beat the iPhone15<\/span> in terms of autonomy as well, given the HD+ resolution of the 6.6-inch screen. It also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, as well as face unlock with the 5MP selfie camera<\/a>.<\/p>\n

On the back, a 16 MP main camera is nothing to write home about, nor is the budget chipset or 15W charging speed. The Moto G04 still offers Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity and even a 3 audio jack, 5mm. The water-repellent body comes in four cool colors<\/a> – Concord Black, Sea Green, Satin Blue and Sunrise Orange – bringing a certain elegance to the phone at the best value for money with Android 14<\/span> There is. <\/p>\n

Unfortunately, Motorola's Android update schedule for its cheaper phones means the G04 will likely stay on.
