Wests Tigers, brother of rising NRL star Masei Tavui charged with murder, Eti Tavui\u060c<\/p>\n

The brother of a Wests Tigers junior player has also been charged with the alleged murder of Dejan ‘Danny’ Radulovic – a day after his younger brother was arrested.<\/p>\n

Eti Tavui, 21, blew kisses to his family and supporters as he walked out of prison via video link at Liverpool Local Court on Thursday.<\/p>\n

He was arrested at Liverpool train station on Wednesday and charged with murder and breaching a digital evidence access order.<\/p>\n

Outside the court, one of his supporters appeared to push a reporter as they left the court.<\/p>\n

The reporter responded by asking the man<\/a> not to push him.<\/p>\n

Mr Radulovic died after police were called to Donnelly Street in Balmain at 3.40pm on July 29 following reports of an assault.<\/p>\n

The police arrived and found Mr. Radulovic seriously injured in the head and torso.<\/p>\n

Paramedics treated him at the scene before taking him to the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital where he later died, with a post-mortem later revealing he had suffered gunshot wounds.<\/p>\n

Radulovic was released from prison earlier this year after serving nine months behind bars for drug supply.<\/p>\n

Police said they had received information that Mr Radulovic had been injured during an altercation with two men, who allegedly fled in a white jeep, which was later found burnt out at Five Dock.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday, police charged Masei Tavui, 19, with the alleged murder of Mr Radulovic.<\/p>\n

Masei Tavui has been a member of the Wests Tigers junior ranks for four years, playing for the club in junior competitions.<\/p>\n

He has not been hired for 2024.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, his older brother Eti, 21, was also charged.<\/p>\n

He did not apply for bail when he appeared in court on Thursday and is due to reappear in December.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
