You can follow him on Twitter @Tim_McManus.<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p>PHILADELPHIA \u2014 Eagles edge rusher Haason Reddick has been granted permission to request a trade, a league source confirmed Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>Reddick, 29, signed a three-year, $45 million free agent contract with his hometown team during the 2022 offseason.<\/p>\n<p>He quickly outperformed that deal, racking up 16 sacks during the 2022 regular season and 3.5 more in the playoffs during the Super Bowl in Philadelphia.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"inline editorial float-r\" data-behavior=\"article_related\">\n<h2 class=\"editorial-title\">Editor&#39;s Choice<\/h2>\n<p>2 Related<\/p>\n<\/aside>\n<p>\u201cYou all see it, you all know what\u2019s going on,\u201d Reddick said when asked last offseason if he was underpaid.  \u201cI\u2019m afraid I\u2019ll be the best version of myself, and then everything will work out, really.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He added 11 more sacks during the 2023 campaign, marking the fourth straight season he reached double-digit sacks.<\/p>\n<p>NFL Network was first to report that Reddick had received clearance to seek a trade.<\/p>\n<p>From the Eagles&#39; perspective, it&#39;s not guaranteed a trade will get done.  Cap and compensation considerations will have to be fair in order to part with one of their best defensive players.
