Apple once again tops Fortune’s Most Admired Company list, followed by Microsoft and Amazon\u060c<\/p>\n

\nFortune<\/a><\/span> recently revealed its list of Most Admired Companies, highlighting once again that when it comes to reputation, technology reigns supreme.<\/p>\n

Apple has once again clinched the top spot as the world's most admired company, continuing its impressive streak of nearly two decades at the top. For the 17th consecutive year, the iPhone<\/a> maker was praised for its reputation as the best company, according to a survey of about 3,700 executives, directors and analysts.<\/p>\n

For the fifth year in a row, Amazon and Microsoft maintain their positions among the top three. Google's parent company, Alphabet, ranked 7th, up two levels from its place on last year's list. On the other hand, Nvidia, known for powering global generative AI projects with its GPU chips, reached its highest ranking ever, at 10th.<\/p>\n

In this year's list, there's even more to glean. Disney slipped to 12th from 6th and relinquished its title as the most admired entertainment company, passing the torch to Netflix.<\/p>\n

    For 26 years, Fortune, in partnership with the consulting firm Korn Ferry, has compiled this list of business reputations. The process involves collecting votes from the company's officers, directors and securities analysts. This year, the selection process began with a pool of 1,500 companies. <\/p>\n

    This included the 1,000 largest U.S. companies ranked by revenue, as well as non-U.S. companies listed in the Fortune 500 database with revenues exceeding $10 billion. The selection process reduced the initial number of 1,500 companies to 660 by prioritizing the most profitable companies in each sector.<\/p>\n

    Securing the top spot in Fortune's list isn't the only feather in Apple's cap these days. The company also clinched the title of top smartphone maker for the first time in 2023.
