They have been humming like this for several months \u2013 at the end of October 2023, we told you about <span>iPhone 15 <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/tag\/pro\/\"   title=\"Pro\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">Pro<\/a><\/span> having the worst user-generated reviews of any high-end iPhone model to date.<\/p>\n<p>Now the <span>iPhone 15 Pro<\/span> is receiving even less public love, according to the most recent reports (via <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/9to5mac.com\/2024\/01\/31\/iphone-15-pro-customer-satisfaction-drops\/\" class=\"external\">9to5Mac<\/a>).  The vanilla iPhone 15, however, is getting more and more love.  It&#39;s something.  I&#39;m sure the people in Cupertino were hoping for the exact opposite phenomenon, but here we are, living in the strangest of times.  Or maybe times aren&#39;t so strange and there&#39;s a simple reason behind the decline in satisfaction among <span>iPhone 15 Pro<\/span> users\u2026<\/p>\n<h2>What changed?<\/h2>\n<p>In late October 2023, a PerfectRec report examined nearly 700,000 user-generated reviews online and found that the <span>iPhone 15 Pro<\/span> received 5\/5 stars from only 73% of these reviews.  This was lower than the similar 5\/5 scores of the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro. <\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.perfectrec.com\/posts\/iphone-satisfaction\" class=\"external\">The latest report from PerfectRec<\/a> (by the way: these reports should be called &#8220;PerfectWreck&#8221;) applies the same methodology and finds that the cheapest <span>iPhone15<\/span> and 15 Plus achieve an increase in customer satisfaction.  Usually, Pro phones have higher ratings than the base variants, but not this time.<\/p>\n<p>Today, only 66.1% of <span>iPhone 15 Pro<\/span> reviews now give 5\/5 stars.  And for the iPhone 15 Pro Max, that went from 77% to 72.5%.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, the <span>iPhone15<\/span> went from 68.2% to 78.1% and the iPhone 15 Plus went from 70% to 73.5% for 5\/5 star ratings.<\/p>\n<p>Over the past 30 days, the top three complaints about <span>iPhone 15 Pro<\/span> were, according to the report:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Poor battery life<\/li>\n<li>Incremental upgrades <span>iPhone 14 Pro<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Disappointment regarding physical design and protruding <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/tag\/camera\/\"   title=\"camera\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">camera<\/a> lenses<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>iPhone 15 Pro satisfaction drops to previously unimaginable levels while the vanilla iPhone 15 is getting all the love\u060c (I can&#39;t get no) Satisfaction!
