We have to focus on winning football matches and that is what matters and every top professional knows what is required. is required.&#8221;<\/p>\n<aside class=\"inline inline-photo full\">\n<figure><picture><source data- media=\"(min-width: 376px)\"><source data- media=\"(max-width: 375px)\"><img class=\" lazyload lazyload\" data-image-container=\".inline-photo\" height=\"320\" width=\"570\"\/><\/source><\/source><\/picture><figcaption class=\"photoCaption\">Erik ten Hag fined Marcus Rashford after saying he was too ill to train. <cite>EPA\/PETER POWELL<\/cite><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/aside>\n<p>Following a meeting between Ten Hag and Rashford on Monday, <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/tag\/united\/\"   title=\"United\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">United<\/a> released a statement saying the England striker had &#8220;taken responsibility&#8221; for his actions and would be available for the trip to Wolves on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>When asked about Rashford&#39;s <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/tag\/reaction\/\"   title=\"reaction\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">reaction<\/a> to the incident, Ten Hag remained tight-lipped.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe took his responsibilities and for the rest, it\u2019s an internal matter, a closed case,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Asked if Rashford&#39;s behavior showed a &#8220;lack of respect&#8221; towards his manager, Ten Hag replied: &#8220;That has nothing to do with it. Like I said, the case is closed .&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>After scoring 30 goals last season, Rashford has struggled to find form this season, scoring just four times in 26 games.
