He returned to training during the trip to Saudi Arabia for the FIFA Club World Cup before Christmas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8211; Stream on ESPN+: LaLiga, Bundesliga, more (US)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Haaland, 22, has scored 19 goals this season despite missing the last 10 games and is expected to return to the team against Burnley this <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/tag\/week\/\"   title=\"week\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">week<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s the first time he\u2019s come back,\u201d Guardiola said at a press conference on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We have the whole team, we are stronger. He is an important player for us.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Guardiola previously suggested midfielder Kevin De Bruyne would be a smooth return after a five-month absence due to a hamstring injury, but hinted Haaland could be ready to return straight to the team at the Etihad on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"inline inline-photo full\">\n<figure><picture><source data- media=\"(min-width: 376px)\"><source data- media=\"(max-width: 375px)\"><img class=\" lazyload lazyload\" data-image-container=\".inline-photo\" height=\"320\" width=\"570\"\/><\/source><\/source><\/picture><figcaption class=\"photoCaption\">Erling Haaland has missed the last 10 games with a foot injury. <cite>Photo by James Gill \u2013 Danehouse\/Getty Images<\/cite><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/aside>\n<p>\u201cHaaland was suffering from bone stress, so it\u2019s a completely different approach, but step by step,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>City face Burnley on the back of a seven-game winning run, including a 1-0 <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/tag\/win\/\"   title=\"win\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">win<\/a> over Tottenham in the FA Cup on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>Guardiola&#39;s side sit five behind leaders Liverpool at the top of the Premier League as they head into the second half of the season in search of a record fourth consecutive title.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s one game at a time,\u201d Guardiola said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We made these [winning] works in the past because it was only one match.  It&#39;s Burnley, Burnley, Burnley.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt doesn\u2019t matter what we have done in the past, but I am delighted that almost the whole team is fit. [Manuel Akanji] is back.  He trained very well with no knee problems and John [Stones] Also.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It&#39;s the best news for an important part of the season. Of course, with the FA Cup and the Champions League it&#39;s important to have everyone.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Guardiola has confirmed that Kyle Walker will remain City captain despite revelations about the England defender&#39;s private life.<\/p>\n<p>Walker gave a media interview explaining his actions and apologizing to his family.
