Both will report directly to the new team principal Laurent Mekies.<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8211; Unlapped: How to listen or watch the new ESPN F1 show, episode archives, and more<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Additionally, Guillaume Cattelani will join Red Bull Technologies as Technical Assistant, reporting to current Technical Director Jody Egginton.<\/p>\n<p>The appointments come ahead of the relaunch of the team, previously known as AlphaTauri, at an event in Las Vegas on February 8.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"inline inline-photo full\">\n<figure><picture><source data- media=\"(min-width: 376px)\"><source data- media=\"(max-width: 375px)\"><img class=\" lazyload lazyload\" data-image-container=\".inline-photo\" height=\"320\" width=\"570\"\/><\/source><\/source><\/picture><figcaption class=\"photoCaption\">Alan Permane was associated with Renault &#8211; Alpine&#39;s parent company &#8211; for 34 years before leaving last year. <cite>Getty<\/cite><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/aside>\n<p>Under its new name, the Red Bull-owned team will have a closer association with the senior Red Bull Racing team based in Milton Keynes.<\/p>\n<p>The restructuring will include moving part of the technical team to Milton Keynes as well as sharing more components with Red Bull Racing where rules allow.<\/p>\n<p>Goss, who worked for 28 years at McLaren before joining the FIA \u200b\u200bin 2021, will <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/tag\/start\/\"   title=\"start\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">start<\/a> in his newly created role in October.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am excited to join Visa Cash App RB at the start of its new era of competition,\u201d said Goss.  \u201cThis is a team with a lot of pride and heritage, with exceptional people already in place, and I look forward to working with Team Principal Laurent Mekies and alongside Technical Director Jody Egginton.
