Now, certainly, I am not a T Mobile rep, but from what I can gather from these comments is that the company is putting pressure on the sales team to meet certain metrics that are extremely difficult to achieve. And now a T Mobile The rep, who claims to have been in the carrier's top 1 percent of sales professionals for six of the eight months he's worked there, has some shocking things to say about the company.

At T-Mobile, this rep says he's “seen more fraud here than anywhere else I've been so far.”

Although this person is “fairly new” to T-Mobile, they are not new to the wireless industry. So it means something when he says that while he's never done anything fraudulent, he adds, “I have to be honest though, I've seen more fraud here than anywhere else I've been so far.” now.” Another T Mobile the rep in the same thread says that 80% of T Mobile sales professionals “do the right thing and do it the right way.” As for the remaining 20%, this representative divides the problems between T Mobile customers and “just shady people” working for the carrier.

<picture style="padding-top: 56.232939035487%"></picture>

T-Mobile representatives are under pressure to meet certain sales goals, according to current employees working for the carrier.

What caused this Reddit Rant was the super salesman (the guy in the top 1%) who asked a customer to send his family members to two different stores (they live in a different state) to have their SIM card changed from Verizon to another. T Mobile SIM card on an existing line. The first store added an additional line to the customer's account, which was assumed to be a misunderstanding between “us, the customer and the other representative.”

The second family member went to another store for the same reason and “this rep falsely produced a voice AND data line, which in turn causes promotion issues. I'm sure this customer wishes to not never switch to Tmobile. Can we all just agree stop doing this.”

Another T Mobile the representative explains what kind of pressure he is under. “My goals have increased about 30% year over year, with an arbitrary peak of 150% last summer.” This sales professional warns T Mobile customers, “You will see a LOT more dishonesty in the coming months from employees who are just trying to keep their jobs.”

T-Mobile representatives would earn more commissions when a customer adds a new line

T Mobile, like any public company, is closely watched and its quarterly figures are scrutinized by analysts for signs of growth. But things are much more serious when a T Mobile One employee posts on Reddit that “the company is basically encouraging this with unrealistic goals and expectations. It's not just “greedy rep wants to make more money” – it's “I'm going to get chewed out by my RSM/DM if I don't succeed”. many postpaid activations today.'”

A T Mobile A customer joined the thread to say “I went to get a phone and someone added a line to my account at the most expensive price.” A few T Mobile reps noted that they don't make much money when selling you a phone. The big commissions are distributed to representatives who entice customers to add new lines or purchase insurance for devices purchased from T Mobile.

This is likely a problem that permeates the entire industry. If you're going through your wireless bills, make sure there aren't any lines added to your account that you didn't request. If you notice a significant increase in your wireless bill, review the monthly bills carefully. And if there is a problem or you see something that looks fishy or doesn't pass the smell test, call the carrier's headquarters. Don't just report this to the local store where you usually buy your phones, because they would love to bury your complaint where it will never be found.

Top T-Mobile rep says he’s “seen more fraud here than anywhere else I’ve been so far”، If you browse the T-Mobile Sub-Reddityou will encounter quite a few long-standing complaints T Mobile employees who miss the good old days.
