The company needed a year to reset its iPad offerings, especially since the end of the pandemic led to a decline in revenue from iPad sales. TF International analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who has more Cupertino connections than the Apple standard, said in November that mass production of the new iPad Pro models would take place at the end of the first or second quarter.

<picture style="padding-top: 66.6875%"></picture>

The 10th generation iPad's front camera has already been repositioned to be at the top of the tablet in landscape mode

Currently, the Face ID camera sits at the top of the screen in portrait mode, meaning the camera is shifted to the side when the iPad Pro is connected to the Magic Keyboard accessory. This can be a pain when you're in landscape and trying to unlock the tablet with your face; This can be downright annoying when you're using the camera for a video conference and you're in landscape mode.

Apple has already moved the front-facing camera on the base 10th-generation iPad to be on top when held in landscape mode. This was done in 2022.

If you're seriously looking for a new high-end iPad, you won't have long to wait as Gurman expects Apple to launch the new iPad Pro models in late March. The tablets will have the powerful M3 chips under the hood. Gurman and Kuo also expect Apple to launch two new iPad Air tablets this year with improved specifications and one of them will have a larger 12.9-inch screen. And we might also see new Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil accessories available this year.

TF International's Kuo expects shipments of the new iPad Pro OLED models to reach 6 million to 8 million units this year. Kuo expects shipments of the two new iPad Pro models to be negatively affected by rising 2024 tablet prices and cannibalization by the new 12.9-inch iPad Air.

New OLED M3 iPad Pro models in production; device to be released in late March، For the first time since the release of the OG iPad in 2010, Apple has gone a full year without launching a new tablet.
