Injured Bayern Munich battled back to a 3-2 win at Augsburg in the Bavarian derby on Saturday to narrow the gap with Bundesliga leaders Bayer Leverkusen to one point.<\/p>\n

Goals from 19-year-old Aleksandar Pavlovic and Canadian international Alphonso Davies, plus a goal from league top scorer Harry Kane just before the hour mark, took Bayern to 47 points in the first half. -time.<\/p>\n

Bayern were missing nine players due to injuries or international duty, including Konrad Laimer, Joshua Kimmich and Dayot Upamecano, who were all injured in the midweek 1-0 home win over Union Berlin.<\/p>\n

Kane then scored his 23rd league goal in the 58th minute after a lengthy VAR review to restore Bayern's two-goal lead before Augsburg were awarded a penalty in the 87th minute.<\/p>\n

Neuer picked out the right corner and headed aside Sven Michel's spot-kick, but Demirovic beat him with another spot-kick in injury time to inject some late drama into the game.<\/p>\n
